The staff was welcoming, as well as owner. I asked for family room and it was tastefully decorated and new-fashioned with a fantastic view overlooking the forth.

Well decorated and large unit with a fantastic view overlooking the Forth, luxurious duvet, lovely tasteful decor. Central location on the hill. Very friendly and wonderfully courteous staff providing exceptional services.
Wi-Fi was very poor.

Overall had excellent stay for 7 nights. The hotel had a central location on a hill in the country with beautiful views of the water. Besides, it was so close to the beautiful coastal beaches in Fife as well as Scotland. The staff I encountered were superfriendly and wonderfully courteous.

Its rooms are tastefully decorated and new-fashioned for a LOVELY stay for 7 nights. Absolutely perfect location, it's set adjacent to a hill, the conservatory and a church in a nearby village.

I had a fantastic stay at Monturpie Guest House. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The room I stayed in was recently refurbished and the decor was tasteful. The bed was so comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom had nice toiletries and the shower had excellent water pressure. The complimentary touches like the after dinner mints, tea and coffee sachets, and homemade shortbread were a delightful touch. The restaurant had amazing views of the Firth of Forth and the food was delicious. The strawberry cheesecake was a particular highlight. The location of the guest house was perfect for exploring Fife. I had an A+ experience at Monturpie Guest House and I would definitely recommend it.
